DigiGram, a modular typeface

Modular Typeface, Type Specimen

Sketching, Illustrator, InDesign

Digigram (digital x grandma) is a modular typeface born from the strange harmony between the typography on your grandma’s needlepoint pillow and a techno-retro-futuristic DJ’s poster. Drawing on bracket-like modules made with a felt calligraphy pen, Digigram was then vectorized in Illustrator, becoming the heavily gridded, futuristic typeface you see in this type specimen.
